I am a Licensed Behavioral Health or Mental Health Counselor and Therapist with more than 15 years of experience working within culturally diverse groups to provide person-centered mental and behavioral health services. Groups I’ve worked with include individuals with excessive stress and challenges of life, severely and persistently mentally ill, individuals in crisis, individuals with personality and substance use disorders, medically challenged and in chronic pain, adults, children, adolescents, elderly, LGBTQIA+, VA, active military, developmentally delayed, forensic and incarcerated. I completed my advanced degree in mental health counseling and therapy at Chaminade University of Honolulu; I gained real-world experience in both the States of Hawaii and Colorado. My goal for clients is progress, any progress, “baby steps” are perfect. I enjoy working with my clients and the ongoing relationships or “alliances” we cultivate together.
